In 2014, the company announced its intention to acquire Omega Laboratories Limited for $85.3 million

In 2015, the company sold Sagent (China) Pharmaceuticals to Nanjing King-Friend Biochemical Pharmaceutical Co.

In 2016, the company made its most notable acquisition to date, when it acquired five Abbreviated New [...] Applications from Teva Pharmaceuticals for $40 million. As part of Teva's acquisition on Actavis Generics, a number of [...] portfolios are being sold off. Later in the same year, the company was acquired by Nichi-Iko Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd for $736 million (representing $21.75 per share and a 40% share premium).
