Safe Passage (Massachusetts)

Founded in 1977 as Necessities/Necesidades, Safe Passage is a non-profit organization committed to ending domestic violence and oppression in women's lives through the provision of services and community engagement. Safe Passage serves women and their children, primarily from Hampshire County, who are experiencing or have experienced physical or emotional abuse. Safe Passage strives to create a community that does not tolerate violence against women and children. All of our services are free, confidential, accessible, and offered in English and Spanish. Interpreters are available for women who speak other languages, including ASL. Services are based on an empowerment model in which survivors are presented with options and supported in making their own choices.
