Saadat Awan

Saadat Awan is a Washington DC native, by way of Pakistan and Afghanistan. He is a member of The Cassettes, Metropolitan band, International Velvet, I.C.U. and formerly Travis Morrison Hellfighters. He has also worked with Lori Carson and Nima Majd in the past. Awan is a Self Taught drummer, bassist, guitarist, keyboardist, and tabla player. Awan has been exporing his roots with his work with The Cassettes, featuring a song sung by him in Urdu entitled "Muja Achi Larki Daydo", as well as in Metropolitan band with "Pakistan International" a song AbOUT his trips back to, and experiences in, Pakistan with his family.
