Rydens Online
Rydens Online is an online student newspaper established in 2009, created by and for students of Rydens School and Rydens Sixth Form College. Rydens Online emulates an online tabloid newspaper and includes articles, blogs, caricatures and InterViews all by current students.
History
Rydens Online was setup in 2009 by Rydens School's Website Coordinator and the Head of English. The paper was originally a few pages within the school's main site, but became a separate site in its own right to accommodate student participation and interest.
Blogs
One of the more popular sections of the paper are the blogs run by students. Although they have no academic merit, the blogs serve as comic relief for students and are based on 'random' topics and nonsense stories often involving teachers.
