Ryan Cameron
Ryan Cameron (born November 29, 1966 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an actor, comedian, and radio personality.
Cameron began his career at WVEE-FM in Atlanta, Georgia. In 1991, he was steadily rising his way up the radio ranks at WVEE-FM in Atlanta. In 1995 he went to work at WKYS in Washington, D.C. In 1996, Radio One founder Cathy Hughes presented Cameron with opportunity to host his own morning show for a new station in Atlanta. From 1996-2005, he hosted The Ryan Cameron Morning Show on WHTA. In July 2005, Cameron returned to WVEE-FM as the host of The Ryan Cameron Show, which airs Monday through Friday from 2pm-6pm.
In addition to his radio career, he has also made appearances on The Jamie Foxx Show, Rolonda, Montel Williams, and BET's Comic View. And won a local Emmy as the host of a midday television news magazine on WXIA (NBC). Ryan appeared in Atlanta in the 14th Street PlayHouse production of August Wilson's Fences. He was also cast in the Rainforest Productions film Trois, and landed a leading role in the Nomad Pictures comedy Jink'd. He was also the announcer for Atlanta A&T band in the movie Drumline. He is also the co-host of Atlanta & Company, a midday show on WXIA.
Cameron also serves as the public address announcer for the NBA's Atlanta Hawks.
He will be filming a new show for Starzz soon. He can be heard on the 2-6 timeslot with Elle Duncan.
