Rucha Dighe

Rucha Pataka Dighe (Hindi: ऋचा फाटक दिघे, Rucā Phāṭaka Dighē born November 11, 1988 in Mumbai) is an Indian voice actress who specializes in dubbing foreign content. She can speak English, Hindi and Marathi. She is married to Nachiket Dighe who is also a voice actor. They have been in a marriage since November 29, 2013.

Dubbing career

Rucha is known to be the voice of Misty (Kasumi) in the second Hindi language dub of the Pokémon anime produced in-house by UTV Software Communications for Hungama TV and aired on May 19, 2014. Her colleagues who worked with her in the 2014 dub were also Nachiket Dighe (Voiced Ash Ketchum (Satoshi), and he also voiced Tracey Sketchit (Kenji) in the first Hindi dub), Dinaaz Farhan (voice of Delia Ketchum (Hanako)), Uplaksh Kochhar (voice of Brock (Takeshi)), Shagufta Baig (voice of Jessie (Musashi)), Rajesh Shukla (voice of James (Kojiro)), Saumya Daan (voice of Meowth), Sam Parker (voice of Giovanni (Sakaki)), and Anshul Chandra (as the Hindi voice of Tracey Sketchit (Kenji) for this dub). The XY series uses the Hungama TV Hindi dub cast consisting of actors of the new characters which include Sayuri Haralkar as Serena, Nilufer Middey Khan as Bonnie (Eureka) and Viral Shah as Clemont (Citron) And Anas Khan Rashid/Suraj Jagtap For Gary Oak(Shigeru).

She's also said to be the official current Hindi voice for Disney character, Snow White.

The First 8 seasons dubbed, were based on the 4Kids Entertainment English dub. The later seasons were also dubbed in Hindi and are also revised translations based on the English dub. A Second Hindi dub has been produced by UTV Software Communications featuring a new Hindi voice cast and translation and aired on Hungama TV. Rucha Dighe was involved in the second Hindi dub as the voice of this character. Neshma Chemburkar voiced this character in the first two seasons of the first Hindi dub, which was produced by Crest Animation Studios for the first four seasons and then by Sound and Vision India for Cartoon Network India, Cartoon Network Pakistan and Pogo starting with the Master Quest season up until after Black and White.

The premiere date was April 18, 2015 for the channel and it was aired as: "Pokémon The Movie - Mewtwo Ka Badla" (पोकीमॉन द मूवी - म्यूटो का बदला).
