Rowdy Johnson Band
Rowdy Johnson Band is an American Outlaw Country recording artist based out of Tombstone, Arizona signed to independent label, Gray Beard Records.
History
Formed by the band’s namesake Rowdy Johnson in early 2008, RJB began performing in and around Tombstone, Arizona before quickly gaining national attention. Their brand of hard hitting Outlaw Country harkened back to the days of Waylon Jennings and Willie Nelson. The band’s original songs penned by Johnson soon caught the attention of Sirius/XM Outlaw Country, Outlaw Magazine, Saving Country Music and other outlets. In 2012, the band began touring nationally performing at some of the largest biker rallies in the Country including Sturgis, Myrtle Beach, Ocean City and Mountain Fest performing alongside such acts as Merle Haggard, Charlie Daniels, .38 Special, David Allan Coe, Molly Hatchet, Marshall Tucker Band, Big & Rich, Gretchen Wilson, Trace Adkins, Aaron Lewis, Colt Ford, Jackyl, Grand Funk Railroad, John Kay’s Steppenwolf, Shooter Jennings and more.

Their debut album Outlaws Today was released in 2011, followed up by America’s Best in 2013 and most recently Hillbilly Rock Star in 2015. All released on the Gray Beard Records label which was founded by Johnson and fellow band member Ken Whitcomb. The band’s singles America’s Best and Unwanted Man both appeared on the compilation album ' which reached Top 20 on the iTunes charts in 2017.
