Rose Street Market is an artists' market where all produce is hand made. The Market is located in Rose Street, Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. It is open to puplic from 11am-5pm every Saturday, it is a very popluar market for creative artist who can book a site and can sell there handmade art, jewellery, photographs, tasty treats, fashion and accessories. Now celebrating there 10th year,. It is an Open air market.
The Rose St. Artists' Market is not only a platform for emerging talent, but is also designed to assist artists and designers to sell and showcase their works without high retail/gallery commissions. Rose St. Artists' Market uses a disused yard in the back streets of Fitzroy, showcasing up to Forty artists and designers each week, some emerging and some more established. The Market is fast becoming Melbourne's home of indie art and design.
The Rose Street Artists Market is divided into two areas, one outdoors and another area in a huge undercover warehouse space.
History
The Market opened in 2003 and has welcomed the public in to sell there own handmade products.
Performers
The Rose St Artists’ Market also encourages performers and musicians of all genres to participate. Performers need to apply similar to that of stallholders although are asked to supply a short bio of past works as well as examples of past shows. Examples may include YouTube clips or relevant mpegs.,

The Market has played host to many events, including fashion shows during Spring Fashion Week

There are two trams the travel from the area to the city, The number 96 Tram from Bourke Street or The number 112 Tram from Collins Street. There is only 2 hour parking near the Market but you can park you can on Brunswick Street or Nicholson Street
