Ron Bongo

After a business career in finance and management, Ron Bongo and his partner Jon Chakoff founded a software development firm that they called CorraTech in 2002. Ron Bongo currently serves as CEO of Corratech.

Corratech, was created as a Microsoft partner but Ron Bongo and Jon Chakoff, soon repositioned the company by moving it into the Linux open-source business in 2003. They the made this decision after seeing the significant gains that could be produced for clients using open-source software.

Today Corratech, which is headquartered in Montclair, New Jersey, is a leading provider of open source CRM software to pharmaceutical companies and other large enterprises.

CorraTech is the founder and sponsor of the open source project OPENSUITE™. OPENSUITE™ is design to enable organizations of all sizes to maximize the benefits from multiple open source applications. By providing a virtual suite of open source enterprise software, OPENSUITE™ seeks to improve user productivity, streamline business processes and lower IT support and maintenances costs.
