Robin Stickley

Robin Stickley has been with Global BC since January 2004 when she transferred from Global Edmonton where she co-hosted the morning news for four years. She hosts the weekend morning news and noon news hour on Saturdays and Sundays. Originally from BC, Robin grew up in an air force family and lived her life overseas in Germany. Robin eventually came back to Canada for her education and graduated from the journalism program at the Southern Alberta Institute of technology. Her first job in journalism prior to working for Global was in Red Deer where she worked in various positions, from editing and anchoring the news and rolling the prompter.

Personal Life

A lover of languages, Robin is fluent in French and loves to story tell, a quality that's perfect for her journalism career. Robin keeps fit by running marathons, scuba diving, sailing, traveling and riding airplanes. Robin lives in Vancouver and has a pug named Doug.
