Robin Schwarz
Robin Schwarz, author of critically acclaimed Night Swimming, is also creative director/writer for The New York City advertising firm Kaplan Thaler Group. She has an MFA in poetry from Columbia and is currently at work on her second novel.

Having earned tuition playing guitar in bars and writing songs, she has also published several poems in various journals, won the recent John Lennon song writing contest in the Gospel Category, wrote James Patterson's poetic notes left by the killer in Jack and Jill, helped with the research in Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas, worked at J. Walter Thompson for fifteen years on various projects, i.e. Kodak, Pepsi International, Bell Atlantic, Nestle, Toys 'R' Us, Motts, etc. She was the Recipient of many awards including best writer world wide in the International TV and Radio Awards. The work she found to be the most satisfying in her advertising career, has been her pro bono work, i.e.: Red Cross, Organ Donation, print and radio for The Adventurer-a teaching schooner being refurbished in Gloucester, Mass., print and radio for the Dolphin Research Lab in the Keys.
