Robert W. Kirk

Robert William Kirk (born 1960) is an American architect and business owner based in the Chicago metropolitan area who is the father of right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, Kirk was involved in the construction of Trump Tower in New York City.

Architect

Kirk was involved in the construction of Trump Tower, a skyscraper in Manhattan named after the 45th and 47th president of the United States, Donald Trump, it is also the headquarters for the Trump Organization.

Politics

Kirk was politically ACTIVE out of the public space, and he was one of Mitt Romney's major donors during the politician's 2012 presidential campaign, according to The New York Times.

Personal life

Kirk is married to Kathryn "Kimberly" Kirk (née Smith). His wife worked initially as a commodities trader at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange before transitioning into a career as a mental health counselor. The couple raised two children in a politically moderate household.

Death rumors

In 2025, a rumor spread about Kirk being dead; this rumor started after his son, right-wing political activist Charlie Kirk, was shot at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025. This turned out to be false.
