Riodike Fútbol Club
Riodike Football Club is a sports institution of Montevideo, the capital city of Uruguay, founded on January 1st of 2013, following the initiative of youth and adolescents to promote sport among students. It is the only club in Uruguay and thought founded by youth for youth, with clear demonstration that the maximum age of the founders does not exceed twenty. Not currently involved in any category Football Association , but will be part of the Second Division Amateur from season 2013/2014.
History
The team came from a group of friends who, after participating as a team in some soccer tournaments, decided to go a little further and bet on the creation of a sports club to allow them to play football in the categories of Uruguay. As described in Article 2 of the Statute of the club, Riodike "aims to promote the sport in youth and adolescents, more precisely football. Consequently, the club will seek to promote the inclusion of young athletes to their campuses without impediment to establish competing amateur or professionally" . Riodike begin his journey in football championship in the Third Division of Uruguay 2013/2014, meaning their first participation at the official level.
Symbols
The statute provides that "club colors are yellow gold (which contains 254 red, 205 green and blue 7, according to the scale RGB), brown or burgundy (composed of 135 red, 0 of green and blue 0 according to the RGB scale) and mustard (which has red 135, green 117, blue and 2 in relation to the scale above) and will be present in any related symbology entity. addition, the institution will seek the colors used to refer to the club in the state previously established, respecting its exact hue" . The flag of the club is formed by a horizontal yellow stripe, which contains the inscription "FC Riodike" in burgundy, this being defined by two bands also embroidered. The upper and lower edges of the two horizontal bands present mustard.
The shield of the institution is made with the same colors of the flag, with the name of the team and its foundation date.
Uniform
Riodike status, in its Article 3, states that the sports uniforms of all computers in the organization "should be made mandatory with the colors already mentioned, being able to implement the scale between white and black, to alternative facilities or porter". The owner of the club clothing consists of a shirt half gold and half yellow brown or burgundy, with shorts and white socks. Meanwhile, the alternative team equipment consists of a white shirt with a strip from top to bottom and left to right in yellow gold and brown or burgundy, short and medium brown or burgundy.
Footballers
Riodike has a reduced squad, composed of players who are mostly young students, sports fans, but without much experience in the category. Currently the school is aimed at preparing the season 2013/2014 of the Second Division Amateur, and because of the recent founding of the club, this has a limited roster of only 17 players.
