Richard van Zijtveld
Richard van Zijtveld (born 6 August 1979) is a Dutch darts player who plays in Professional Darts Corporation events.
Career
He started playing in PDC events in 2007. His first event was the Thialf Darts Trophy 2007, where he lost 3-0 in sets (0-2, 1-2 and 0-2) to Ronnie Baxter. In 2009 he became member of the PDC. In that year he played 9 Players Championships. At 2 events he reached the 2nd round, PDPA Players Championship Germany 4 and PDC German Darts Championship. In 2013 he played the Q-school and became Associate Member of the PDC again. He qualified for 1 event of the European Tour 2013, 2013 PDC European Tour Event 6. He played Michael Hurtz, from Germany, and losed 6-3. In 2014 he played Q-school again and became Associate Member of the PDC for 2 years on a row. On the first day of the UK Open Qualifiers he reached the last 64 and earned his first price money in 2014.
