Rev Dr Jack Mckelvey

Rev Dr Jack Mckelvey is a retired but still ACTIVE vicar in central Manchester. He was a lecturer at Manchester University for many years in Divinity and New Testement Studies, and is known to have had activities in South Africa, and is still respected by his peers for his knowledge in New Testement Greek. He lives with his wife, and next-door to his son's family including his grandchildren. Another of his children is a pilot for an african charity.

Publications

• The New Temple (239pp), a theological text in PHD style the book brings attention to what he outlines as a neglected but important image of the Church, namely God's new temple. The author still rates this publication as his favorite of The Two, being more original and in his words "important". The book makes frequent discussion of the Greek and Hebrew of quoted verses from the Bible and makes reference to the author's own translation of the New Testement, which is so far unpublished.
• The Millennium and the Book of Revelation (99pp). This second book, published 1999, is the author's thoughts on the Book of Revelation's cyriptic use of the Greek language it was written in to expose misconceptions, and explores in particular the theological concept of the Millennium.
