Research Valley Innovation Center

The Research Valley Innovation Center (RVIC) is a Texas business incubator/accelerator promoting a region centered around Brazos couty, the cities of Bryan and College Station, and the Texas A&M University System. RVIC is focused on science and technology startups. It was formed in Apri/May 2007 by the Research Valley Partnership, a public-private economic development corporation, the Texas A&M University System Office of Technology Commercialization, the Texas A&M Health Science Center, and Texas A&M University. Services of the RVIC help entrepreneurs grow their business into a successful venture. Types of services include management consulting advice, business plan development, access to a regional service provider network, and physical incubator space.

The RVIC supports the winners of the annual Research Valley New Ventures Competition, where entrepreneurs from university settings and the community at large can present their startup and possibly win seed capital. The RVIC also hosts companies that have received a Texas Emerging Technology Fund Award.
