Republic Metals Corporation was founded in 1980 by Richard D. Rubin. Throughout the years, Rubin steadily grew his business of servicing precious metal refining needs, beginning in Florida and expanding across the U.S. and eventually into Latin America.

As environmental regulatory standards have evolved, Republic Metals Corporation has achieved the highest certifications and recognition for compliance. Republic Metals Corporation is ISO 14001 Certified, the first such designation awarded to a U.S. metal refinery.
