Renato Guedes
Renato Guedes (born in 1980) is a comic book artist, currently working for DC Comics. Guedes is slated to do the art for Action Comics #850, written by Kurt Busiek, Fabian Nicieza and Geoff Johns, as well as collaborating with Tony Bedard on Supergirl, starting August 2007.

Personal life
Renato Guedes was born in São Paulo, Brazil in 1980. Guedes began studying art in 1999 at Fabrica de Quadrinhos (currently known as the Quanta Academy of Arts). There, he studied comic art. Before he became an artist, Guedes was a publicity agent, occasionally illustrating covers for the Opera Graphica Publishing Company.
Career
Guedes has done some work for Avatar Press, with their StarGate SG-1 and Saw: Rebirth titles. He also did the art on 24: One Shot for IDW Publishing. Guedes is currently signed exclusively with DC Comics, and has worked on Action Comics, Smallville and Adventures of Superman.
Currently, Guedes is working on Action Comics #850. Also, it was recently confirmed that Guedes would be doing the art for an upcoming Lex Luthor miniseries by Kurt Busiek. Guedes will also be sharing art duties with José Wilson Magalhães in a three issue arc of Supergirl, starting with #20.
Guedes recently finished working with Dwayne McDuffie on Action Comics #847, and worked on the OMAC miniseries by writer Bruce Jones.
