Remesis (film)

Remesis is a 2009 Puerto Rican film, written by Agustina Ramirez and directed by Jhonny W. Perez. It was filmed in Añasco Aguada & Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. The actors are all from The Academy ARCO, Inc. Filming began in June 2009. Later filming stopped and continued in August 2009. Filming finished in November 2009. A release date had been set for early December but it was pushed back to February 2010. A private premiere was scheduled for December 23, 2009 in Añasco, Puerto Rico. The official premiere to the public will happen in February.

Title

The movie "Remesis" is named by a fake planet.It is also and was called "2 worlds,1 life" before Production.

Plot

"Remesis", is about a young women, "Amnelis" that is a Alien from Remesis, the plant where she lived,She has to leave her planet after a war erupts. She is found by a lady, "Mama Luisa", She takes care of her and sends her to the Riverio Ordaz Foundation, for cancer patients. She eventually is taken in as a Doctor, and 15 years later her sister "Raizalin" must go and find "Amnelis" because she will die is she does not return to "Remesis". When "Raizlin" Arrives on Earth she falls in love with "Alexander", The man that helped her find her sister. The problem is that "Alexander" has a girlfriend, "Camilie". Then "Roxana Moura", the director of the foundation, starts getting suspicouse of "Amnelis" and "Raizalin". She calls imagration to have them arrested. This and the love triangle between "Raizalin", "Camilie" and "Alexander" and later "Dr. Contreras", The hard decision that "Stephanie" and "Fernando" are faced with, love tied up with Religion, [...], and Questions is.... Remseis.

Setting

The film takes place in a The Rivera Ordaz Foundation,Time takes place in the 1980's. The film was filmed in Añasco, Aguada, & Aguadilla, Puerto Rico.There were scences filmed in "El Teatro Cafe" of Bellas Artes De Aguada.
