Redline (drink)
Redline or Redline RTD is the name of a "ready to drink" zero-carbohydrate thermogenic energy drink from VPX (Vital Pharmaceuticals, Inc.).
Geared towards the fitness industry, but sold as an energy drink anywhere from gas stations to gyms, the beverage contains a proprietary BLEND of many ingredients, including anhydrous caffeine, evodiamine, tyrosine, yerba mate extract, green tea extract, 5-HTP, vinpocetine, and Yohimbine.
Because Redline contains no sugar, it is sweetened with Sucralose which allows the drink to taste sweet with minimal aftertaste. Its taste is GeneRally well received with three flavors available (grape, green apple, and berry.)
There are several warnings on the container, including "Do not drink while pregnant," "Keep out of reach of children," and "Do not drink on an empty stomach", amongst other things. Some users have reported that they have experienced trembling, increased body temperature, sweating, headaches, and nausea when consumed on an empty stomach. The product also carries labels warning consumers not to use it if they are under the age of 18, and the item tends to be age-restricted in many retail outlets, including Wal-Mart.
Redline is also available in gelcaps, and in a liquid form (dispensed with a 5-mL spoon included with the bottle).

The warning found on Redline is as follows:
"RECOMMENDED USE: Shake well prior to use. Always begin use with one-half can (4oz.) of REDLINE daily to assess tolerance. Never exceed more than one can daily. Do not consume REDLINE on an empty stomach. Consuming REDLINE on an empty stomach may cause nausea.
WARNING: NOT FOR USE BY INDIVIDUALS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 YEARS. DO NOT USE IF PREGNANT OR NURSING. Consult a physician or licensed qualified health care professional before using this product if you have a family history of, heart disease, thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, depression or other psychiatric condition, glaucoma, difficulty in urinating, prostate enlargement, or seizure disorder, or if you are using a monoamine oxidize inhibitor (MAOI) or any other dietary supplement, prescription [...], or over-the-counter [...] containing ephedrine, pseudo-ephedrine, or phenylpropanolamine (ingredients found in certain allergy, asthma, cough or cold, and weight control products). Do not exceed recommended serving. Exceeding recommended serving may cause adverse health effects. Discontinue use and call a physician or licensed qualified health care professional immediately if you experience rapid heartbeat, dizziness, severe headache, shortness of breath, or other similar symptoms. Individuals who are sensitive to The Effects of caffeine or have a medical condition should consult a licensed health care professional before consuming this product. Do not use this product if you are more than 15 pounds over weight. The consumer assumes total liability if this product is used in a manner inconsistent with label guidelines. Do not use for weight reduction. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN."
Potency and dangers
Although any claims of an energy drink's potency are necessarily subjective, many bodybuilders, fitness enthusiasts, and other individuals have asserted that it is much more potent than other products of its kind.
