Redesign malaysia
ReDeSign Malaysia is a website dedicated to improving the quality and coverage of broadband internet services in Malaysia, and aims to achieve this through the compilation of relevant news articles, highlighting areas that lack coverage or have poor service.
Founded by Josh Lim, Redesign Malaysia also provides information on Internet Service Providers in Malaysia and their coverage. For this reason, Redesign Malaysia is often used to find alternatives to the highly criticized TMnet Streamyx broadband service. The website also provides a forum which allows members to discuss problems, and voice their grievances.
In an interview by Friedbeef's Tech, Josh Lim is quoted saying "Long term wise, I think we stand a good chance of being able to rally the community together to lobby for causes which are of public interest, broadband being one of the most pressing issues which I feel needs to be addressed here."
At the time of writing, the website of Redesign Malaysia appears to be down. Visiting the web page takes the viewer to a site by the website's host, Plesk Professional ltd. The site has been up for a month, with a new entry indicating that the domain name had expired. It seems that it's only renewed for a month since the site is down again as of now.
