Red Books

Red Books: Our Search for Ellen White is a play AbOUT Ellen White, a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the various perceptions of her throughout the history of the church. It is produced by the Dramatic Arts Society of Pacific Union College in California.

The play was created by Mei Ann Teo, the artistic director of the Dramatic Arts Society, together with Pacific Union College students Eryck Chairez and Zach Dunn. It was based on InterViews collected from over 200 individuals. The Title derives from White's books, which were traditionally bound with a red cover.

The play will be shown at the Adventist Forum Conference at Santa Rosa, California from September 28–30, 2007. The Adventist Today Foundation, together with eight other churches and organizations, are co-hosting the 2007 southern California tour of Red Books in Loma Linda on September 7-8, 2007, San Diego on September 14–15, 2007, Glendale on September 16-18, 2007, and Riverside at La Sierra University on October 5–6, 2007.
