Rameses B is a British electronic music producer from Yorkshire, United Kingdom. He primarily writes music in the drum and bass, dubstep, chillout, electro, house, and film score genre.

Education

Rameses B began producing songs in 2003 after experiencing the 'Music 3000' game for the PlayStation 2 which introduced him to the basics of music production at a young age. Since then he acquired triple distinction BTEC in music production at Leeds College of Music in 2008, then a Bachelor of Science in Creative Music & Sound Technology at Leeds Metropolitan University in 2011.

MusicAL career

Best known for the melodic TEXtures and ambient soundscapes that evoke different emotions within his music, Rameses B has built up the knowledge AbOUT sound & music over many years and takes pride in being an independent artist. He does not have an exclusive label contract. He shares much of his music with the world for free.

In 2010, his music started getting promoted by popular YouTube channels such as MrSuicideSheep. Since then many more people have been listening to his music thanks to the discoveries made and shared on the internet. Near the end of 2012, his progressive house track "Come & Go (feat. Charlotte Haining)" was released through Monstercat during a program by the label called "New Artist Week" in order to expose new artists. Since then, he has released numerous tracks, including his "Timeless EP", as well as remixing songs such as Heartbeat (feat. Collin McLaughlin) by Vicetone.

In one of his autobiographies of one of his many social pages he says, "I taught myself piano, I taught myself how to produce.. my desire for creativity kept me going. Guided by college and university, this wasn't something I inherited. But it's something I know I was born to do."

With a huge catalogue of sounds he asserts that his listeners will "be sure to find something that suits [their] needs, ranging in genre, emotions and style there is something for everybody."
