Dr. Rajesh Sharma belongs to the cadre of first generation pioneer Traumatologist of Central India, having centers at Hoshangabad and Bhopal Madhya Pradesh. He is the pioneer to establish the concept of Trauma Care Unit in the name of holy river Narmada, namely, "Narmada Trauma Centre" in the year 2006.

Under his leadership, the Team Narmada has successfully performed more than 50,000 surgeries and good number of joint Replacements. He is an energetic Doctor having entrepreneurial qualities with an innovative approach, was born on 3 August 1962, Graduated and Post Graduated in Orthopedics from Gandhi Medical College Bhopal, qualified P.S.C. and served as Medical officer in District Hospital Hoshangabad. After resigning from Govt. job he established Narmada Health Group in 1993 with the vision to serve mankind with holistic approach. Today Narmada Health Group has various health temples to serve large group of society in Hoshangabad as well as Bhopal capital of Madhya Pradesh.

He is married to Renu Sharma, from Itarsi, Hoshangabad with a family background of great repute residing in Hoshangabad, since last three generations, a prominent Chaturvedi family with a political & social background of giving contribution in Indian freedom movement. Grand Father Late Pandit Makhanlal Chaturvedi, a renowned national poet and Late Pt Hari Prasad Chaturvedi (Ex Cabinet Minister M. P. Govt. 1969) were well known freedom fighters & veteran Congress leaders in Hoshangabad District.

Chaturvedi family has a glorious past & respect across whole Hoshangabad district & have a very broad base family relation almost in every major area of district.

Narmada Health Group founded an NGO Narmada Jewan Dayini in year 2008 with following major objective

• To study and analysis road and highway accidents and study accident scenario.
• To give training to hawkers, auto-drivers and city bus drivers and commuters for pre-hospital care, first aid and intensive care at accident site and during in ambulance and transit.
• To provide information and education for causes of road and highway accidents and to give information for traffic rules and safe driving.
