Raaka (film)
Raaka is an upcoming Indian Telugu and Tamil-Bilanguage science fiction action film written and directed by Atlee and produced by Sun Pictures. The film stars Allu Arjun and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. It marks the first collaboration between Atlee and Allu Arjun.
The project was initially announced under the tentative title AA22xA6. On 8 April 2026, the makers revealed the official title Raaka along with the film's first-look poster.
The film is scheduled for theatrical release in December 2027.

Development
Reports of a collaboration between Atlee and Allu Arjun emerged following the commercial success of Jawan (2023) and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024). The project was officially announced in April 2025 under the working title AA22xA6.
On 8 April 2026, coinciding with Allu Arjun's birthday, Sun Pictures announced the film's official title, Raaka, and released its first-look poster. Independent reports described the film as a large-scale science fiction production featuring extensive visual effects.
Casting
Deepika Padukone was confirmed as the female lead opposite Allu Arjun. Ramya Krishnan was confirmed as the a strong, impactful character with Allu Arjun.
Filming
Principal photography began in 2025 and is expected to continue through 2026 ahead of the film's planned December 2027 release.
Music
The film's music is composed by Sai Abhyankkar.
Release
Raaka is scheduled to be released theatrically in December 2027.
