Quosal
Quosal 1 is a sales quote and proposal preparation, delivery and management software package. Quosal allows salespeople from virtually any industry to create accurate, high-quality quotes and/or proposals, and integrates with online distributors, CRM software and accounting platforms to reduce the time of the sales cycle.

Creation and Management of Quotes and Proposals
Quosal allows users to craft both sales quotes and proposals, including customer data, product information and any additional information (such as contract terms, options, product documentation) and deliver the quote / proposal as a Microsoft Word doc, a PDF contained in an email, or as a custom Web site from Quosal's Order Porter feature. Quosal handles international currencies, tax codes, multiple publication formats and also features a user-configurable scripting system allowing for extensive customization.
Quosal is available both as a desktop-installed package and as a browser-based SaaS package.
CRM Integration
Quosal integrates with several popular CRM packages, allowing users to populate quotes with data from the CRM records, and automatically update the CRM records based on the creation of a quote / proposal or a status update (e.g. quotes approved/Delivered, opportunities won/lost). QuickBooks Integration
Quosal integrates with Intuit's QuickBooks, allowing users to post completed quotes and proposals as Estimates, Invoices, or Sales Orders, either directly or in prepared batches. Other features include the ability to automatically create new Customer Accounts, Inventory and Non-Inventory Products, as well as many others.
Real Time Pricing, Electronic Ordering and Etilize
Quosal integrates with key online distributors of IT-related products to allow real-time pricing -- where previously, one would have to rely on potentially outdated data based on spreadsheets or lists, real-time pricing allows users to directly query distributor databases to find the lowest prices and check the status of available inventory. Integration extends to the ability for a user to place electronic orders directly from Quosal to some distributors.

Quosal further integrates with Etilize, giving Quosal users the ability to include data from Etilize, which provides extended product data and images of millions of products worldwide.
Order Porter
Order Porter is a Quosal feature that CREATES a Quosal-hosted Web page for each quote or proposal, which can be custom-designed according to the user's style and brand elements. The Web page contains the full quote data, offers a downloadable PDF of the quote, and can be additionally customized with media such as images and video created and recorded by the user.
Windows Presentation Foundation
Quosal is built using the Microsoft Windows Presentation Foundation. In addition to Providing identical Web browser and desktop application functionality, Quosal has a rich user interface that includes animated, icon-based navigation, 3D effects and transitions, and the ability to expand and contract (scale) application workspace.
Company Information
Quosal was co-founded by Kent McNall, who previously was president of Gas Powered Games from 2004-2007. Before that, McNall was president of Apropos Retail Management Systems from 1989-2004, where he led the development of retail software applications and helped lead the company’s successful acquisition by CRS Retail Systems/Epicor. Technologist and co-founder Stephen Yu, a longtime associate of McNall and founder of Effiliant Systems, leads the development team as VP of Development. Another key team member is Sam Demulling, Senior Engineer and systems architect.
