QuietMove

QuietMove, Inc. is an Information Security consulting firm that specializes in penetration testing, application security, and IT audit. They are a Nevada corporation, with headquarters in Scottsdale, Arizona.

History and Development

QuietMove, a security as a service company, was founded in 2006 by Adam Muntner and Jeffrey Rassas. Mr. Muntner left Security VAR Accuvant to found a consultancy focused on Information Security services, independent of the traditional VAR model.

Mr. Muntner previously had been a founding member of IBM's Ethical Hacking Center of Competency, and later the Information Security Officer of Pegasus Solutions, a transaction processing system company that had offices in 12 countries and was publicly traded at the time.

Mr. Rassas is a technology entrepreneur. Mr. Rassas hired Mr. Muntner in 1998 to be the CTO of Ebiz Enterprises, out of which they created The Linux Store, an early successful Linux system builder.

Information Security Consulting

QuietMove is focused on providing Information Security services to businesses and organizations with Information Security compliance requirements such a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA.

Services provided include penetration testing, web application security testing and consulting, IT Audit preparation services, and specialized Information Security training.

QuietMove possesses proprietary tools and methodologies developed in-house relating to Information Technology Risk Management including their engagement scoping and threat modeling methodology, their reporting and vulnerability remediation support process, and their Web Application Developer Security Training curriculum. 1

QuietMove's personnel have been speakers at specialist security forums hosted by ISSA, Infragard, SecureSD, OWASP, and TRISC. QuietMove is the sponsor of the Phoenix, AZ chapter of OWASP.
