In 2005, QuestionPro was founded in Seattle as a survey software and market research company by Vivek Bhaskaran who is a Brigham Young University alumni, class of 1987, and co-founder of IdeaScale. In the same year, the company moved its headquarter from Seattle to to the San Francisco area.
In 2008, QuestionPro was ranked #172 on the Inc. 5000 "Fastest Growing Private Companies in America". In 2012, QuestionPro acquired PollBob, a social polling network based in New Orleans, Louisiana.
In 2014, the company acquired RapidEngage, a San Diego-based developer of online survey software with microsurvey technology focus on increasing engagement and conversions from website visitors. In 2018, the company acquired WorkXO, a culture management platform with the aim of evolving QuestionPro's workforce engagement surveys and tools. In February 2020, the company acquired Care Experience, a Dallas-based company that offers patient feedback business unit.
In 2020, the company moved its headquarter from the San Francisco area to Austin, Texas.
