Queendolyn Akpan

Queendolyn Akpan (also known as Queendoline Akpan) is a Nigerian sports coach and technical writer, currently serving as an assistant coach for the Nigeria U‑17 women's national football team (nicknamed the Flamingos), and also works as frontend developer and technical writer.

Queendolyn Akpan developed an early passion for both sports and education, which later shaped her dual career path as a football coach and technical writer.

Coaching career

Nigeria U‑17 Women's National Team

  • Appointed as Assistant Coach I for the Flamingos by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) prior to India 2020 qualifiers.
  • Served under Head Coach Olanrewaju Bankole Olowookere during the 2022 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup, and was part of the technical staff that helped Nigeria secure a second consecutive third-place finish.

Notable involvement

  • She led early training sessions for players arriving from Rivers Angels FC ahead of the 2020 qualifier against Guinea.
  • Listed as Assistant Coach I in the official squad for the 2022 FIFA U‑17 Women’s World Cup in India.
