Queen of Southgate

The Queen of Southgate'' is a 2006 novel written by Dale E. Sperling and published by American Books. The book is based on a true story set in Greensboro, North Carolina. The titleSouthgate'' is taken from the Southgate Motor Inn on Randleman Road in Greensboro as the author was researching the consequences of a deadly fire in Fayetteville, North Carolina when, after two years of searching, he encounters one of the people from the fire.
