Pyrena Software (also known as Pyrena Games or Pyrena Studios) is a video game development company founded in 2019 in Sakarya, Türkiye. The company focuses on developing games for computer and mobile platforms.

History

In October 2025, the company officially registered its trademark with the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office, securing its corporate identity under the video game software classification.

Pyrena Software has participated in government-supported technology competitions in Turkey:

  • GençTek 2025: The company was selected as a finalist in the 2025 technology competition organized by the Turkish Ministry of National Education (MEB).
  • EğitiJAM 2024: The project Mirrors Never Lies received the "Best Idea" (En İyi Fikir) award at the EğitiJAM 2024 game development marathon. The event was supported by the Turkish Ministry of Interior and hosted at METU Technopark. Mirrors Never Lies is a puzzle-adventure game developed as a prototype for the EğitiJAM 2024 hackathon, where it received the Best Idea award.
  • Genç Zihinler Kodluyor: The Pyrena Games team participated in the coding competition organized by the Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality.
