Tanzania Public-Private Partnership (2025)
In August 2025, the company signed a public-private partnership (PPP) agreement with the Government of Tanzania through the Cashewnut Board of Tanzania (CBT). Under the agreement, PSL Machinery provides cashew processing machinery, technology transfer, and workforce training to local cashew cooperatives, including the Tandahimba Newala Cooperative Union (TANECU), Masasi Mtwara Cooperative Union (MAMCU), and Ruangwa Nachingwea Liwale Cooperative Union (RUNALI) - organizations collectively representing cashew farmers across southern Tanzania. The partnership aims to strengthen Tanzania's domestic processing capacity, reduce the country's reliance on raw cashew exports, increase the share of value-added processed products, and create sustainable employment through training and technology transfer.
The event was covered bt VTV1 and HTV9, Vietnam's national broadcaster, in the context of a broader report on Vietnamese high-technology exports to African markets.
Ghana Public-Private Partnership (2026)
In May 2026, PSL Machinery signed a public-private partnership (PPP) agreement with the Government of Ghana through the Tree Crops Development Authority (TCDA), represented at the signing by its CEO Dr. Andrews Osei Okrah. The agreement followed earlier discussions between The Two parties at the Ghana Tree Crops Investment Summit and Exhibition (GTCIS) 2026, which was attended by President John Mahama.
Under the agreement, PSL Machinery will provide turnkey cashew factory solutions for Ghana, including solar steel building construction, supplying cashew processing machinery, factory management support, worker training and a kernel buyback program as an assurance for the processed kernel output.
The partnership aims to support Ghana's national target of processing 50-60 per cent of its raw cashew nut production domestically in the first phase, and head toward 100 per cent in the Long term. This agreement is intended to reduce Ghana's reliance on exporting raw cashew nuts to processing countries such as Vietnam and India, enabling the country to retain grater value from its cashew production.
The signing ceremony was covered by Vietnamese national broadcasters VTV1, VTV4, and VTV10 in the context of reports on Vietnamese high-technology exports to African markets, as well as by HTV9.
