History

Based in Annapolis Junction, MD, with offices in Columbia, MD, and Boston, MA, Proteus Technologies was founded in 1999 and reorganized with a new CEO in 2001. Proteus Technologies initial mission was to provide both World-Wide-Web "wireless-ready" content and solutions for portable hand-held devices to vertical markets and to provide software development consulting services to the Government Intelligence Community (IC). The company currently partners with clients in solving the most perplexing problems inherent in the collection, analysis, production, and dissemination of signals intelligence. In 2005, the company was ranked #1 in Maryland and #52 in the U.S. on the Deloitte list of fastest growing technology companies.
