Prof Col A Balasubramanian

Prof. Col. A. Balasubramanian born 26 April 1946 in Kandithempettai village, Mannargudi taluk, Thanjavur dist,Tamil Nadu. He is a Triple Post Graduate (M.A., PGDM, & MPM), Educationist and know for his bold sucessfull experiments in Management Education.

Early life

An ex-service man with 30 yrs experience with armed forces. After retirement he joined SIBM and completed his Post Graduation. He is the only Indian in the history of India to be conferred with honorary rank of full colonel from the ranks by President of India.

Career

He was the founder director of Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies (SIMS). In 1998 he founder Sri Balaji Society in Pune which runs management institute namely Balaji Institute of Modern Management Pune, Balaji Institute of Telecom and Management Pune, Balaji Institute of International Business Pune, Balaji Institute of Management and Human Resource Development Pune.
