Pro-G
Pro-G (shortened from Prodigious Gaming) is a London based commercial website focused on video game news, reviews, previews and videos. It is privately owned and operated by Pro-G Media Ltd., which was formed in June 2004 by university friends Adam McCann and Tom Orry. Pro-G has grown to become one of the most important European based websites focused on video games. Pro-G is one of the largest independent media outlets based in the UK specialising in videogames content. Pro-G has come under some criticism for reviews dubbed as "unfair" and "missing the point", due to their tendency to place more importance on technical issues of a game rather than the overall experience it provides the gamer.
Pro-G recently launched Pro-G TV, a new video streaming service, offering users video game trailers, gameplay clips, and InterViews. The service is said to offer the highest video bitrate of any video game website in Europe.
Much of the content on Pro-G is syndicated to the Virgin Media portal as part of an on-going content agreement.
