Prime Outlets Puerto Rico
Prime Outlets Puerto Rico, is an open-air outlet mall located along Puerto Rico Highway 22 in Barceloneta, Puerto Rico, United States. It is one of two outlet malls in Puerto Rico (the other being the indoor The Outlet Route 66 Mall in Canovanas), and the First One to be made.
Built by Baltimore-based Prime Retail, the outlet center opened in 2000 with approximately 55 stores. A subsequent addition in 2008 brought the total number of stores to around 100 stores and over of retail space. The center was designed with a village-style layout and walking lanes throughout. There is an air conditioned food court and a playground. The mall has many well known stores such as Nike, Reebok, Polo Ralph Lauren, Children's Place, Gap, Old Navy, Aeropostale, Puma, among others.
In addition to the mall itself, there is a free standing Caribbean Cinemas movie theater, a drugstore, bank, a Chili's, Ponderosa Steakhouse, and Ruby Tuesday.
The mall is popular among residents from around the island, especially those from the San Juan area, and tourists as well.
