Precious Life
Precious Life is an Irish organisation founded in 1997 by Bernadette Smyth dedicated to preventing abortion through non-violent means. They are the largest such organisation in all of Ireland, and the only one active on the streets. Along with distributing pro-life literature, they also give talks across Northern Ireland.
Some of their work also includes:
- establishing a fund for women in need during a "crisis pregnancy"
- the opening of Northern Ireland's first Pro-Life Information Centre
- television interviews
- heavy advertising arguing against abortion
