Founding

Autonomous Power Corporation, doing business as Powerus, was founded in 2025 in West Palm Beach, Florida by Andrew Fox, with Brett Velicovich as co-founder. Andrew Fox serves as Founder and Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 25 years of entrepreneurial experience, including founding and scaling Charge Enterprises. Brett Velicovich is President and Chief Operating Officer, a former U.S. Army Special Operations intelligence officer, author of Drone Warrior, and holder of an MBA from Duke University. Velicovich's background includes service as a special operations veteran and advising drone companies in the U.S. and Ukraine. The company's initial focus was on building autonomous drone systems through acquisitions and development, drawing on Velicovich's combat and intelligence experience to address needs in high-risk environments for defense and related applications.
