Portuguese Liga Player of the Year
Portuguese Liga Player of the Year is an annual award given to the best player of each season in the Portuguese Liga. The award is presented by the CNID which distinguishes the winner of every award by voting with all the players in the Portuguese Liga to decide the best player over a season. The first winner of this annual award was Boavista's Petit in 2001 and the last winner was Bruno Alves of FC Porto who won the award in 2009.
