Popcorn Fish
Popcorn Fish is the name of a prepared frozen seafood snack distributed in North America by Gorton's of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
They consist of minced pollock coated in a batter seasoned with a BLEND of herbs and spices. They are so named because the small, bite-sized pieces are sized like pieces of popcorn.
Though unsuitable for preparation in a microwave oven, Popcorn Fish are quickly prepared in a conventional oven within twenty minutes. Their small size makes them suitable for a part of a meal as well as a snack. The batter does add some fat and calories, but no trans fat.
