Pokémon anime in India
Pokémon is a Japanese anime series. It came to Indian television in 2003, first airing on Cartoon Network. Later it was also shown on Pogo, Hungama TV and Disney XD India.

Cartoon Network and Pogo
It first aired on Cartoon Network with the first season Pokémon: Indigo League from May 12, 2003 as a part of the Toonami block. It was shifted to Pogo starting with Season 10 but shifted back to Cartoon Network with Season 14.

Hungama TV and Disney XD
Around 2014, Disney India brought the rights to Pokémon. However, Disney did not acquire the rights for the anime's previous Hindi dub, so the anime was re-dubbed in house. It first aired on Hungama TV before being shifted to Disney XD. It does not air the original English audio for unknown reasons.
