Point Blanc: The Graphic Novel (Known as Point Blank: The Graphic Novel in North America) is a graphic novel written by Antony Johnston and illustrated by sisters Kanako Damerum and Yuzuru Takasaki. It is based on the novel Point Blanc, written by Anthony Horowitz and was released 3 September 2007 in the UK by Walker Books and is set to be released in the USA 27 December 2007.

Plot

The graphic novel starts off with Michael J. Roscoe, Head of Roscoe Electronics. As he is on his way to lunch, and opens the lift, he walks into the lift, and he notices the lift is nowhere to be seen, leaving him plummiting down the shaft.

Then we can see Alex Rider talking to Sabina Pleasure, talking about Alex's previous mission about the stormbreaker, and how Sabina still think Alex is a spy. Then Sabina changes the subject about the man in the Skoda and that he is a [...] Dealer. Alex says goodbye to Sabina and decides to see what the dealer is up to. He notices he lives on a Barge. A misty picture can be seen of Sabina saying "Somebody should do something about him". Alex thinks he should call the police, until he see's a crane and has an idea. After passing the builders with the "Im going to see my Father" excuse, he gets into the crane and starts to lift the boat. Alex decides to "drop them off" in the Metropolitian Police station, and crashes the boat into the station. Alex is then caught and taken to prison for the night.

The rest of the novel follows up the story of the novel Point Blanc.

The Novel is more descriptive than the graphic novel.

Front Cover

Walker Books had given the Graphic Novel 2 covers. Both are not much different, but the only thing different is in one, Alex's hair is all spikey (his normal look) and the other one is where he has had almost all his hair removed (which is the look he was given when he became Alex Friend).
