PLM College of Science
The College of Science of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila is one of the twelve Undergraduate schools of the University. It was once part of the former PLM College of Arts and Sciences until it started to function as a separate college on January 31, 2003. Prof. Antoniño Santos was then appointed as its Dean, and Mrs. Corazon Bumanglag as Secretary. It is located at the Gusaling Arsenio Lacson, the University's oldest building.
With a grant from the Department of Science and Technology (DOST) of the Philippines, the College of Science was recently provided with a state-of-the-art laboratory known as the PLM Science-Research Laboratory. It has five departments namely, the Department of Biological Sciences, the Department of Chemistry, the Department of Mathematics, the Department of Natural Sciences, and the Department of Physics.
Curricular offerings
The College of Science offers courses in three fields of study. These include:
- Bachelor of Science in Biology
- Bachelor of Science in Chemistry
- Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, minor in Computer Science
