Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past, also known simply as Plazma Burst and often abbreviated as PB1, FTP or PB:FttP, is the first installment of the Plazma Burst series, released on March 24, 2009. The game is set on a nearby planet, where Humans, Grubs, Falkoks, and Drones fight the player and each other. The player takes control of the Marine, the main protagonist, and fights their way through each level. The player is given the opportunity to upgrade their weapons and armor between each level in the 'between-time shop' to take on more advanced and stronger opponents and survive, and sequel Plazma Burst 2.

Plazma Burst 2 (usually abbreviated as PB2) is a side-scroller flash game created by Eric Gurt, released on March 10, 2011. This was the second game in Eric Gurt's Plazma Burst series of games and a sequel to Plazma Burst: Forward to the Past, which will likely be succeeded by Plazma Burst 3 or Plazma Burst 2.5. It follows the series' main characters, the Marine and later, Noir Lime, as well as introducing new factions and allies, including a third main protagonist, Proxy. The game picks up after the events of FttP, where the Marine ejects from his Falkonian ship after he left Noir Lime on the planet from the first game, assuming he would die.

Plazma Burst 2.5 (also referred to as Plazma Burst 3) is a temporary name for the upcoming game in the series. Eric Gurt plans to add many new features, weapons and even 2.5D.

It's unknown when Plazma Burst 2.5 will release . Eric Gurt has made a "To-Do" list with 10/23 tasks complete.
