PlayIt:Pro
PlayIt:Pro is a series of software packages designed to meet the needs of the Web 2.0 radio market. It is currently in beta testing, and is being developed by PlayIt Software.
Components
PlayIt:Live
PlayIt:Live forms the central part of the software suite, running the on-air broadcasting system. Based around a system of 'QuickCarts' and 'Decks' the software is highly customisable and has several features designed for integration with the rest of the system and the running of a radio station, such as playlist logging, DJ user areas and more.
PlayIt:Again
PlayIt:Again utilises the other parts of the software package to automatically generate podcasts with the music removed.
PlayIt:Mobius
PlayIt:Mobius allows the automated playout of songs and jingles, with user input for requests from a variety of different sources.
History
PlayIt was formed in late 2009 by Jason Allen and George Bergel to promote and sell the PlayIt:Pro suite of software. The website was launched soon after, and is expected to start selling in February 2010
