PHLAK
PHLAK is a Linux distribution LiveCD based on Morphix, that focuses on Providing network security tools. The acronym stands for Professional Hackers Linux Assault Kit. It includes security tools such as nmap, nessus, snort, the coronor's toolkit, ethereal (now called Wireshark), hping2, proxychains, lczroex, ettercap, kismet, hunt, and brutus. There are 4 current versions:
- PHLAK 0.1,
- PHLAK 0.2
- PHLAK 0.3,
- PHLAK littleboy
The project will continue to stay in the hands of the founders until it can be re-birthed in the future. We appreciate Mark Reaves for his desired to take over the project, however we are are unable to hand over the project. Development will continue one day, but right now the most important thing to do is take on fatherhood and re-visit PHLAK at a later date.

PHLAK was also featured on The Screen Savers as one of the best applications of 2005, being the first Live CD Linux distros based off Morphix, featuring advanced Linux security/pentesting tools on a single bootable cd. PHLAK was featured on The Screen Savers on the former TechTv network that became g4tv on 1-12-2004 after Developer James Hartman and PHLAK beta tester And Co-promoter Byron Smart traveled for a taping of The Screen Savers on 10-23-2003. The team handed out 10 enhanced betas of the .2 release to Leo Laporte, Kevin Rose, Patrick Norton and a handful of audience members during the taping to promote the first security based Live CD. It was later named at the end of 2004 as one of the top 10 applications of that year.
