Phillip W. Simpson

Phillip W. Simpson is a New Zealand author of primary education books and novels.

Biography

Phillip received a Masters' in Archaeology from Auckland University in 1993. He worked as an archaeologist, a museum curator and then in recruitment for six years before becoming a primary school teacher in 2002.

His first Young Adult novel, Rapture, was short listed for the Sir Julius Vogel awards in the Best Youth Novel category. http://www.sffanz.org.nz/sjv/sjvNominations-2012.html

Phillip Simpson is married to Rosemarie Sherlock. They have one son, Jack Simpson, born in May, 2011.
