Philippine International Trading Corporation

The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) is a Government-owned and controlled corporation established on July 21, 1973, through Presidential Decree (PD) 252 to be the pioneer in establishing Philippine trade with the Socialist and Other Centrally Planned Economy Countries (SOCPEC). On January 25, 1977, the PITC was given a broader mandate to be the prime mover in the expansion of Philippine trade worldwide through PD 1071. It has since embarked on various innovative trading activities by implementing facilitative trade-related services and responsive business solutions

PITC is an attached agency of the Philippine Department Of Trade and Industry. It's key officers are Undersecretary Dave M. Almarinez (President and Chief Executive Officer), Ma. Victoria C. Magcase (Vice President for Corporate Governance), Mario M. Leygo (Vice President for International Trading Services), Carmelita Belen C. Domondon (Vice President for Exports Trading), Christabelle P. Ebriega (Vice President for Government Procurement) and Myra Chitella T. Alvarez (OIC-Vice President for Military Procurement).
