Peter Kelly (Entrepreneur)
Peter Kelly (born 8 December 1986) is a British Businessman who co-founded the app startup imployable in 2017. Peter began his career in the Royal Marines, joining in 2005 at the age of 18 and rising to the rank of Corporal before leaving the service in 2015 to move into mobile app development and project management. In 2018 Peter won both the regional and national Great British Entrepreneur of the Year Entrepreneurial Spirit Awards as well as CEO Magazine Tech CEO of the Year. Peter gained notability in 2019 after giving away 1% of his company to a random person in a jobcentre in Plymouth, the deed picked up a national press in the UK as well as China and Russia.

Peter was born in Croydon, South London in 1986, spending most of his youth living in Pollards Hill with his 2 brothers and 2 sisters before moving to Welney in Cambridgeshire. Peter attended Downham Market High School before moving on to the College of West Anglia in , Norfolk to complete a National Diploma in Uniformed Services.
Early Career
Peter Kelly began his career as a Royal Marine, he joined Royal Marines training in September 2005 and after an injury ended up being discharged in 2006. Peter returned to Royal Marines training in November 2007 and passed the Commando Course in September 2008.
Peter began his Commando career at Fleet Protection Group Royal Marines (Now 43 Commando) and eventually qualified as a Signaller Class 3 in 2009. Peter completed multiple tours of duty including Libya and Afghanistan on Operation Herrick as part of the Commando Mobile Air Operations team.
In 2013 Peter attended and Passed the Royal Marines Junior Command Course and was promoted to the rank of Corporal, he subsequently qualified as a Royal Marines Drill Instructor Class 2, enabling the training of Royal Marines Recruits until he left full service in May 2015.

Peter lives in Plymouth, is a passionate Crystal Palace FC fan and current member of the Royal Marines Reserve with the rank of Corporal.
