Perky Shucrell

Perky Shucrell is a protagonist and a character-only in Little Witch Parfait2:Heartful Memories. He is the father of Parfait Shucrell and therefore the husband of Shanti Shucrell. His unique feature is that his face is hidden by his hair, which makes his face unseen throughout the game. He has no memory to hint on his identity apart from his name, which can be renamed by the player, but is initially Perky - a name he was given in the future.

Reincarnation

Perky's body was of Parfait's father, which had reincarnated into Perky's body in the future, the modern world. However, Perky's soul (in addition to his memory) had come from the future and therefore he does not have any memories from Parfait's father in the past, but from the future.

This is why Perky, when he recovers his full memory, he can only remember Yuri and Ayumi who live in the future, but not Parfait and Lutill, who are from the past where Parfait's father lived in. This is why he remembers his name as Perky, a given name in the future - however, Parfait's father's true name is unknown, except that his surname is Shucrell. The wise witch comments in the end, out of Perky's earshot: "A body from the past, and a memory that he cannot remember... perhaps it is a memory he would have to begin to make," meaning that Parfait's father's memory had to be gained from going back to a further past, as processed in the Grand Ending.
